Worldbuilding: What Sci-Fi can teach us about designing new futures
Worldbuilding: What Sci-Fi can teach us about designing new futures

Future Studies Toolbox
29 October 2020
2:45 PM – 4:15 PM (CET)
In times of uncertainty, visions are more important than ever as they provide us with orientation and guidance. Yet, creating and designing images of the future remains a challenge to most of us. Science fiction authors are trained to conceive the worlds of tomorrow and to confront us with possible changes. Even if these worlds may not always come true, they allow us to discuss futures we consider (un)desirable. In this Future Studies Toolbox Class, we practice worldbuilding, the development of fictitious future worlds.
The workshop takes place on Zoom. Spots are limited.
Sorry! This workshop is fully booked.
